Funeral and Memorial services

 First Lutheran Church is the oldest Lutheran congregation in Washington State, located in the heart of downtown Bothell. The current building was built in 1962, and has undergone updating over the years.

The sanctuary is traditionally inspired. 18 pews on each side of a center aisle (36 pews total, accommodating approximately 335 worshipers), with side aisles on either side of the pew sections.

Baby grand piano at the front of the sanctuary, and an upright piano in the choir loft. 

Small inner narthex directly off the sanctuary, and a large outer narthex leading from the front doors for greeting guests.

Large Fellowship Hall in the lower level, for receptions, presentations, and the educational hour.

We will work with your family to provide a respectful, meaningful worship service for family and friends to come together to say good-bye. There are many options available available in the worship service to share meaningful bible readings and musical selections.

We will work with the funeral home of your choice to coordinate all the aspects of a funeral or memorial worship service.

We will publish a basic bulletin for the service for a nominal fee. If you prefer to do your own memorial bulletin we will provide you with a template of the basic service on a word document. We will provide altar services and usher services before, during, and immediately following the service.

Our Reception Coordinator will organize all the details of a reception in the church fellowship hall following the service.
